About Us

Old Stuff Props came about from Production Designing The Royal, a spin off from Heartbeat, set in a hospital in 1968.

When the show finished, rather than see an extensive, period medical, office and domestic collection of props being skipped, I took control of the collection and found it a home.

Since 2009, we have filtered and added to the collection, allowing it’s growth and detail to improve.

Here on the website, we have  a mere 80 props displayed at the moment, but the collection is far wider with over 5000 items, large and small, and these will gradually be added to our new site.
